Engineering 2022, Volume 9, Issue 2,   Pages 131-147 doi: 10.1016/j.eng.2021.06.020

Abstract:

Organ-on-a-chip technology, a promising three-dimensional (3D) dynamic culture method, ensures accurate and efficient cell culture and has great potential for replacing animal models in preclinical testing. The circulatory system, the most abundant organ in the human body, plays a crucial role in oxygen exchange and mass transfer, which is the determining factor for the survival of tissues and organs. Thus, it is essential to integrate the circulatory system into an organ-on-a-chip to recreate tissue and organ microenvironments and physiological functions. This review discusses the synergy between the vasculature and the emerging organ-on-a-chip technology, which offers even better possibilities of duplicating physiology and disease characteristics. In addition, we review the different steps of a vascularized organ-on-a-chip fabrication process, including structure fabrication and tissue construction using different biofabrication strategies. Finally, we outline the applicability of this technology in the fascinating and fast-developing field of organ and tumor culture.

Design and Research on the Road Testing Apparatus for the MST-S Motorcycle

Jia Guixi,Xu Wei,Li Hongfeng,Qi Wei

Strategic Study of CAE 2005, Volume 7, Issue 4,   Pages 74-78

Abstract:

The road tester of the MST - S motorcycle is a special apparatus on the road trial. With the application of photo electricity transmission sense principle, the instrument, whose kernel is based on the AT89S52 CPU, can inspect the running time on line within the distance through the photoelectricity viewfinder that is installed on the experimental road. Then it calculates the multiparameter in the motorcycle driving and saves the data into the DS1642 chip, which could resist the volatility and administer the time. The experimentation has the ability to complete the testing items for oil consumption veraciously via the mounted fuel flowmeter. Connecting the keyboard query with the intermittence in the survey, the meterage can intercept various intervals. At the same time, for adopting the anti-jamming, which increase the experimental reliability and survey precision respectively, it reduces the trial error.

Abstract:

Micro-electro-mechanical integration system, called microsystem for short is one of forefront technologies at present. The development of microsystem technologies will advance enormously micromation, integration and intelligentize of a lot of products and devices, double the function density, information density and interlinkage density of apparatus and system, save energy and reduce wasts greatly. It has quite wide application and market prospects. The significance of MEMS and its basic theory are expounded in this paper. Performances of MEMS devices used in wireless communication are summarized, and then a proposition that MEMS technology is one of the ultimate resolutions for one-chip wireless communication equipment is concluded. The evolvement status about one-chip mechanical electronic integration microsystem for wireless communication net is introduced.
